Lock Community Health And Welfare Centre

The role of the Community Health Centre is to promote and assist the health and well being of the people of Lock and surrounding districts.

We do this by:

Providing health information

Assessments and referrals

Education in health issues

Promoting healthy living

Primary health care

The health centre is open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). A registered Nurse is available during these hours to provide outpatient services, emergency care, immunizations, primary health care and information on a wide range of issues.

Patient Assistance Transport Scheme Enquiries

Health Checks

Health Information

Pathology samples e.g. Blood Tests, Swabs etc are sent to Port Lincoln for reporting.

A receptionist is available to handle appointments, referrals and information required.

Pharmacy service: Prescriptions faxed daily and delivered next day by courier.
