Changes to Country
Health
On 20 December 2005 the Minister for Health announced the establishment of One
Country Health Region, replacing the existing seven regions in Country South
Australia. From 1 July 2006 the new health service will support a primary health
care and population health focus and will enable state-wide coordination of
clinical networks, quality and safety mechanisms and workforce planning.
Please note that some information on this site may still refer to the Eyre Regional
Health Service.
